Posters of former President President Jerry John Rawlings on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have emerged, sparking brouhaha in a section of the party.

It has not been confirmed whether Jerry John Rawlings has a hand in the manufacturing of the posters, which have gone viral on several social media platforms, including Facebook and WhatsApp.
It has the NDCs logo, the umbrella, at the right-hand corner and a bold inscription which reads, "Papa J for National Chairman. Probity and Accountability"

The sudden emergence of the posters is reported to have sparked instant confusion and uneasiness among some leading members of the largest opposition political party in the country today.
