20 years after it started selling books online, Amazon opens a physical bookstore with books for sale on actual shelves.

Since Amazon launched online in 1995, in the UK, 33% of independent bookstores have closed in the past decade, while in the US hundreds of Borders and Barnes & Noble locations have shut down.
