Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the only goal of the game on the hour mark to give Andre Ayew’s team the victory.

The Ghanaian player started and played 82 minutes of the game before making way for Bafetimbi Gomis.

Swansea City travel to AFC Bourneouth in their next fixture in the English Premier League before Andre Ayew entertains younger brother Jordan Ayew when his relegation threatened Aston Villa team visit the Liberty Stadium.
