Seven member APRM Governing Council sworn-in
A new seven member Governing Council for the National African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) has been sworn into office, chaired by Professor Akilagpa Sawyerr.
The seven member Governing Council were sworn-in by President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House in Accra on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Other members of the Council are Professor Henrietta Mensa-Bonsu, Executive Director of the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), Professor Kwesi Botchwey, Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) and Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante, Chairman of the National Peace Council.
The rest are Dr. Lawrence Kannae, Vice Chairman of the Public Services Commission, Mr. Richard Quayson, Acting Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, Acting Chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).
