Ghanaian excited to wear 'perfect' no. 14 jersey

Baba Rahman will wear the iconic No. 14 for Schalke 04 next season after joining the the German club from Chelsea this season on loan.

The Ghana international has already met up with his new team on their pre-season tour in Austria.

Rahman told Schalke's official website that he feels proud to be handed the No.14 worn by club legend and compatriot Gerald Asamoah.

"Yeah, I know (the no.14 jersey is the number of Gerald Asamoah , a club legend. A number that weighs heavily)."

"But i'm very happy to be here, to work with the team. I know the number has a big meaning at this club because of Gerald but it's also the reason I chose this number."
