The Broncos have slipped to fourth after failing to register a victory since the middle of last month, but got back on track at the expense of a sixth-placed Raiders side who had won their previous three matches.

Corey Parker set the Raiders on their way by going over for an opening try that he converted 25 minutes in and was also successful with the boot after Boyd spotted a gap to touch down.

Full-back Boyd surged through the defence to go over again and leave a shell-shocked Raiders side trailing 18-0 at half-time, then sneaked his way in to complete the second hat-trick of his career just four minutes after the break.

Kurt Baptiste's double either side of a Blake Austin try - all of which were converted by Jarrod Croker - were in vain, with Parker landing a late penalty to make it five out of five from the tee.

Victory for the Broncos came at a cost, as centre Jordan Kahu (pectoral injury) and second row Alex Glenn (shoulder) were unable to complete the game.
