Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens tacked on more bad news following Saturday's 102-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in game one, announcing shooting guard Avery Bradley "heard a pop" in his injured hamstring.

Bradley left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return after scoring 18 points in 33 minutes of action.

Originally called a hamstring strain, it appears the injury is much worse than that, as reported by Celtics.com.

Celtics guard Marcus Smart said twice after the game that "we lost a brother", indicating Bradley is out for the duration of the play-offs.

Just before Bradley's injury, Boston were in the process of taking the lead after erasing a 19-point deficit.

Smart and Evan Turner will likely receive more playing time in Bradley's absence.

Game two of the series is on Tuesday.
