Ovation International lifestyle magazine was introduced to Ghana by the Nigerian businessman and publisher of the magazine, Chief Dele Momodu.

The 2016 edition of the Ovation Carol was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday.

President Mahama who lost the election to Nana Akufo-Addo in the general elections was among several dignitaries that graced the 9th edition of the event organized by Chief Dele Momodu.

Dignitaries at the event include President John Mahama and Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim.

Artistes at the event include King Sunny Ade, Flavour, Sonnie Badu, Stonebwoy, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, Dee Aja and Simi.

President Mahama was treated to the Gospel version of his official campaign song for the 2016 election by Dee Aja.

Meanwhile, President Mahama who has been appointed Co-chair of the ECOWAS mediation committee in the political impasse in the Gambia is in Nigeria to resolve the case in that country.

He will be assisted by his Nigerian counterpart Muhammadu Buhari.

The mediation committee formed at the 50th ordinary session of the authority of heads of state and government in Abuja has been tasked to ensure Gambian president Yahya Jammeh hands over power following his defeat in the country’s elections.
