According to report by Daily Graphic, counsel for Eland International Thailand Company Ltd, Mr Eli Agbemeva, which litigated against the National Investment Bank and Prestea Sankofa Gold Ltd, the bank has ‘willfully’ failed to execute a garnishee order imposed on it by the High Court, Commercial Division.

The counsel said the court must punish them [Dr. Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku, Anthony Ayi Ajavon and Saviour Kudze] since they had no option than to comply with the orders, issued first as a garnishee nisi on September 9, 2016, and later as a garnishee absolute on February 7, 2017.
