The court presided over by Victoria Ghansah said the prosecution established a sufficient case for the accused to answer.
She cited the statement taken from Jihad by the police where he admitted the incident taking place. His lawyers have been therefore ordered to open their defence on the 3rd of May 2017.
Jihad Chaaban is accused of dipping the face of a kitchen staffer Evelyn Boakye at the Abelemkpe branch of the eatery into pepper paste.

This inhumane treatment has caused many social media users in Ghana calling for the boycott of the eatery.
This has led to the creation of a hashtag #boycottMarwako.
Meanwhile, management of the restaurant has suspended the supervisor until police conclude investigations into the matter.
