Final funeral rites held today

Funeral rites of late Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Angwubutoge Awuni is today May 07, 2016.

This follows a wake keeping held on Friday May6, at the police Depot at Tesano.

His body will be laid in state and filing past will commence from 5am to 8am at the National Police Training School, Tesano, Accra.

He will be buried privately after a burial service at the same venue.

DCOP Awuni, 57 died in March after a short illness at the Police Hospital.

He was transferred to the Eastern Region in December 2015 from the Police Headquarters, where he was the Director of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department.
