Man sets ex-girlfriend, lover and two children ablaze

The bodies of the woman called Effia, her two children Adjoa 17, and Junior 8, and the unidentified ex-girlfriend have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

A man has allegedly burnt his ex-girl friend, a woman and her two children to death at Breman Nkontwima at Suame in the Ashanti region.

They were allegedly locked in the room and set on fire by the woman’s former lover.

Tenants in the house at an area popularly called Frafra Lane, were also rendered homeless as their wooden structures were razed.

A fifth victim, identified as Atuley, according to report by the Daily Graphic suffered burns after the suspect allegedly poured petrol on her face and lit a fire for attempting to go to the aid of those who died.

The suspect identified as Luke is on the run.

Residents who spoke on condition of anonymity said, the suspect [Luke] had for several years subjected Effia to maltreatment and threatened to kill her.

Some residents of whom had their rooms destroyed said they know the suspect but were unwilling to report him to the police.
