Berekum Chelsea condemned Techiman City to relegation when they hammered them 4-0 at Berekum in the Brong Ahafo derby.

Techiman City afterwards lodged a protest with the Disciplinary Committee against Berekum Chelsea for using an unqualified player in the said game.

However, the Disciplinary Committee sees no merit in the protest and has therefore squashed it.

As it stands Techiman City, Hasaacas and New Edubiase United have been relegated to the Division One, after the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League season.

But Techiman City have the opportunity to appeal against the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee.
