England captain Dylan Hartley will return from more than a month out of action due to concussion on the final day of the Premiership season.

Hartley led England to a Six Nations Grand Slam in March but admitted he could not remember the team's celebrations at the Stade de France after being knocked unconscious attempting to tackle Uini Atonio.

But the prop has been back in full training this week and has been tipped to make a comeback when Northampton round off their Premiership campaign at Gloucester on Saturday.

"He has done a full week and has been going through the return-to-play protocols," said coach Alan Dickens.

"He's bouncing around the place and back to his usual self."

Fifth-placed Northampton will head to Kingsholm knowing a win will secure European Champions Cup qualification for next season.
