NDC is a peaceful party - Mahama
The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a party where peaceful coexistence is encouraged and appreciated no matter the circumstances.
This is according to President Mahama. The President was addressing party supporters and electorates at Ahomahomasu in the Eastern Region.
He said the NDC stands for peace and did not in support of the ‘all-die-be-die’ mantra by the opposition New Patriotic Party.
The Presidential Candidate of the NPP Nana Akuffo Addo made the ‘all-die-be-die’ comments in the run up to the 2012 elections.
However he has explained at every given opportunity that the comment was not one of warmongering but rather a call on supporters of the NPP to be vigilant during that year's election.
President Mahama is currently on a five-day campaign tour in the Eastern Region. He is meeting chiefs and electorates to tell them why he should be retained for another four years.
