Former Aston Villa midfielder, Fabian Delph had a torrid time at Villa Park on his return with current club, Manchester city.
The 25-year-old made 107 appearances for Aston Villa and was their captain before leaving in controversial circumstances in July 2015.
He returned to Villa Park for the first time since the move and met a very hostile crowd.
He was introduced in the 78th minute as a replacement for Yaya Toure.
He was on the end of some offensive chants with some home fans holding up an inflatable snakes to express their views about their once favourite.
The midfielder seems to have expected the reaction as he smiled and responded with a thump up.
Delph however could not inspire City to a win as they were held to a goalless draw by Aston Villa.
