Early on in the game, it looked as though Inter Allies would be frustrated despite dominating the early exchanges in the game when Nicholas Gyan struck to sink   the Eleven Is To One, but Gockel Ahortor was on hand to hit the equaliser from 13-yards.

Both sides struggled to break through, only for James Amoah to hammer home to put Prosper Nartey's men in front 11 minutes into the second half.

Jimmy Cobblah brought Prince Baffoe and Ropapa Mensah for Sheriff Deo Mohammed and Evans Mensah respectively to double the numbers in his attacking front, before adding on youngster Abdul Halik Hudu with 20 minutes to play and he immediately made an impact, saving the blushes of his teammates.

It was controversial equaliser. The young midfielder powered in the ball from the right end of the midfield into the net, but the assistant referee decided otherwise to the dissatisfaction of players and officials of Allies.

However, after careful tête a tête, the two officials agreed it was a goal, and pointed to the spot for Dwarfs to start the game over again.
