Gnagne and Sarfo captained their respective teams in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League – they played were outstanding in the league.

Gngane’s side finished third while Sarfo guided his side to beat the drop zone in the last day of the campaign.

And following the splendid performance by the duo, Blessing who emerged top scorer of the season with 17 goals has no doubt regarding their display in the league, picking them as his best defenders of the 2015/16 season.

“Robin Gnagne is a talented defender, when I faced him in the league he gave me a tough time, so if I’m rating best defenders I will give it to him and also our defender Samuel Sarfo the Police officer he is also a good defender.

“Sarfo also gives me tough time at training when we are preparing for our league games,” Blessing said on Adom TV.

Blessing is now the sought after player in the Ghana Premier League as clubs such as Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Congolese giants TP Mazembe have targeted his signature.
