Sarfo Gyamfi wins Kotoko Player of the Month

Although July was a difficult month for the Porcupine Warriors, failing to win any of the four league games they played in the process, the 23-year-old was the brightest spot on the team with his surging runs, dribbles and incisive crosses.

Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, after Asante Kotoko were held to a goalless draw on Wednesday was presented with a cheque of GHC1000 in recognition of his contribution to the team.

The award was instituted last season and players like Ahmed Adams, Amos Frimpong, Dauda Mohammed, Obed Owusu and Eric Donkor have won the award in previous months.

Asante Kotoko will make a trip to Sekondi to face Hasaacas on Sunday 21st August on match day 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
