According to Spanish media house Súper Deporte, Manager Marcelino Garcia who is the coach of the 2002 La Liga champions is in search for a midfielder to help augment his team ahead of next season’s campaign.

Thomas Partey is one of the names that have come up after looking around and the Oranges have reportedly made an initial approach to indicate their interest in signing the Ghanaian youngster to Mestalla.

However, Diego Simeone is not ready to let go Partey, especially after having said earlier that he will give the 24-year-old a major role in his team

Simeone highly values the attitude, work and predisposition of the Ghanaian and wants to keep him at the club.

Thomas Partey is now commanding a regular place in the Senior National Male Football Team of Ghana, the Black Stars.

He represented his nation in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nation held in Gabon.
