The former Hearts of Oak striker has been on the books of AC Leopards since the beginning of year, but has now decided to move on, following an injury-plagued campaign.

A statement from the club confirming his departure read: “We wish to notify our members and fans that the club received and has accepted a release request from Gilbert Fiamenyo.

“He leaves AFC Leopards to join Al Nasr club in Libya with immediate effect.

“Details of the deal will be communicated in due course. We wish Gilbert all the best in his new club and thank him for the service he gave us during his stay.”

Fiamenyo scored five goals in 14 games for the Leopards, but has been hampered by a series of niggling injuries, leading to his release.

The striker previously played for Ghanaian clubs Hearts of Oak and Hearts of Lions.
