Glo Ghana denies plans of shutdown

Glo, recently, closed down a number of customer service shops and also decommissioned some cell sites in parts of the country.

Telecommunications Company Glo Ghana has denied reports that the company is preparing to abandon its operations in Ghana, in view of its apparent dwindling fortunes in the country.

But Head of Brand Activation at Glo, Ofosu Agyekum, says it was all part of a strategy to position the company to better serve its customers.

" We have realised the need to restructure our operations to better serve the customers. We will therefore open new GloWorld Shops across the country to replace the ones we have had to close down."

"We will not be launching four new products if our coverage was not good enough - so our customers should get ready for the excitement they are about to witness on our network going forward," he concluded.
