Teacher arrested for defiling nine pupils

A 28-year-old teacher has been arrested for defiling nine pupils and  in the Northern Region.

David Ananga who is a former teacher of Lamashegu EP Primary School was transferred to another school after attempting to abort the pregnancy of one of the victims.

He is currently in police custody together with his accomplice, Frederick Akoto who allegedly made his room available for the act.

The Northern Regional coordinator of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit, ASP Emmanuel Holortu Alhaji Tanko said the suspect has been charged with rape, causing illegal abortion and abetment of crime.
