The Phobians are in the market searching for a coach following the departure of Yaw Preko who is now coaching Nigerian top-flight side Ifeanyi Ubah.

In the absence of a head coach, Wellington has been tasked by the club’s management to take the team through pre-season, and he led the club to finish second in the second edition of the G6 Tourney.

“We the players of Hearts of Oak are not worried and affected by the absence of the head coach because Henry Wellington is a good coach who has a lot of experience to lead us,” Musah told Cape Coast based ATL FM.

“So we are still preparing for the season as we leave this coaching issue to the management. We are however, ready to work with any coach who will be given the mandate to guide us,” he added.
