Basic school pupils abandoned classes and were line up along the principal streets of Accra in the scorching sun to welcome the President of Cote d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara.

Pupils from the Adabraka Presby School on the Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, had been waiting for hours for the arrival of the visiting president.
They Kwame Nkrumah Avenue towards the Central Business District, Atta Mills Highway from James Town towards Osu and the Liberation Road towards the Central Business District roads were closed due to his visit.
