The cause of the fire is yet to be established but fire fighters from the Ghana National Fire Service have moved in to douse the fire.

The four has engulfed four adjoining buildings that is part of the warehouse.

The size of the warehouse is about three football field put together which has been compartmentalised.

Houses nearby have not been affected as fire fighters struggle to ensure that it does not spread to other areas.

According to multiple media reports, initially the fire service had some challenges but it was quickly resolved.
