The man, who was found dead on the Tamale-Yendi Highway was later identified as a patient on admission at the Tamale Teaching Hospital in the region.

This was after some nurses at the Tamale Teaching Hospital took a closer at him and identified him as a patient at the Emergency Ward.

The nurses who later conveyed the body to the hospital told 3news.com that the condition of the man has been unstable for some time now.

Authorities at the hospital are yet to give further details as to how the man ended up dead on the street.
