Nigerian Politician Distributes "Xmas Chicken" To Police

File this under another one of the incredulous things our Nigerian counterparts are bound to engage in over the Christmas season. Of all the gifts to bestow upon the hardworking Nigerian Police force, one politician chose "live chicken".

Not a bad choice though. A very thoughtful move on his part. No?

Governer of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has apparently been on a Stomach Infrastructure programme and this was just an extension to the police officers in his state yesterday... Some of the pictures show him wearing a face mask, for whatever reason, I can't tell

And before you yell out, he did add bags of rice.
