The schedule for New Zealand's tour was unveiled in unusual circumstances on Tuesday, as a host of India players and newly appointed coach Anil Kumble tweeted the venues to be used for three Tests and five one-day internationals in September and October.

Indore's Holkar Stadium - previously used for ODIs against England, West Indies and South Africa - has been handed a Test, together with Kanpur's Green Park and Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The five ODIs will be held in Dharamsala, Delhi, Mohali, Ranchi and Visakhapatnam.

Kumble's first series in charge of India comes against West Indies next month.
