Viliami Lolohea scored his first three tries in ITM Cup rugby as Tasman made it six bonus-point wins from as many ITM Cup matches with a 39-20 victory over North Harbour.

The Premiership Division leaders have been in imperious form so far this term, racking up at least 34 points in each of their fixtures.

And a spirited North Harbour were next to feel the full force of Tasman's powers, with Jimmy Cowan and Lolohea going over early on to open up a 14-0 advantage.

A Nafi Tuitavake try and eight points from the boot of Daniel Halangahu reduced the deficit to one by the half-time interval, but Tasman soared clear once again after the break.

Lolohea touched down twice to bring up his hat-trick, while Marty Banks and Mitchell Scott also crossed the whitewash - the home side racing into a 36-13 lead.

North Harbour had - quite literally - little response this time around, as Michael Little's converted try proved as much as they could muster, and Marty Banks wrapped up the win with a late penalty.
