Databank suspends mobile money service

In a text message broadcast to its customers, the bank said "Databank is suspending MTN mobile money service until further notice."

The bank did not provide alternative means customers could use to top up online but a company official said " it was due to technical challenge."

She said the bank was experiencing a situation where payments made by customers  through MTN mobile money were not reflecting and that the system will resume once the challenges are sorted out.
