Ghanaian to launch "Holy" social network alternative to Facebook

A Ghanaian Christian group is to launch a "holy" social network alternative to Facebook which will be free of "un-Christian" content.  "Social networks these days are filled with nude content and violence," the group LoveRealm said in a statement. According to the CEO Yaw Ansong Jnr. the site will be launched on 9 January and will ensure a holy social network experience.

LMVCA to stage countless demonstrations

Pressure group, Let My Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA), has indicated that it will stage massive demonstrations to force the Electoral Commission (EC) to compile a new voter’s register.This comes on the back of the latest decision by the EC to reject calls for a new voters' register, Speaking to Pulse.com.gh, Convener of LMVCA, David Asante said they will stage countless demonstrations until the register is changed.

Award winning movie director Laila Djansi  says she has regretted campaigning for the National Democratic Congress.  A post on her facebook page reads “Good morning from John Mahama's Ghana!! Multiple days without water. Last week we had to call the company head to have taps opened. I so regret campaigning for NDC although I have no vote in Ghana. I lost friends, someone threatened to burn down my office in Ghana cos I was NDC.”

Pep Guardiola puts Manchester United and Chelsea on alert
