Students who were left behind were forced to go home despite heavy rains in the early hours of Tuesday, March 22.

Authorities of the Northern Business school (NOBISCO) in the Northern region in Tamale have ordered students to leave campus despite heavy rains after the school was closed down on Monday, March 21, 2016.

Some students have already packed out as school authorities are bent on enforcing the directive.

Students are said to have demonstrated last Thursday after authorities asked about 160 of their mates to produce two bags of cement each for missing a roll call conducted after the March 6 holiday.

The school's authorities had asked the students not to take leave during the holidays but 160 of them defied the order.
After the punishment to produce the bags of cement was meted out to them, they went on rampage destroying facilities at the school, which is expected to close the current academic term by Thursday, March 24.
