Stephen Curry refused to be drawn on speculation the Golden State Warriors could sign Kevin Durant in the off-season, insisting he is "very comfortable" with the make-up of the team.

Reports have indicated the defending champion Warriors, who are 44-4 on the season, are the "significant front-runners" to sign 2013-14 MVP Durant - who is a free agent at the end of the season - should he choose to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Asked about the rumours surrounding a potential Warriors pursuit of Durant in an interview with ESPN, Curry said: "I hear that stuff and it's human nature to be interested in it. I'm very comfortable with our team and obviously being 44-4.

"In the NBA, you're never immune to rumors and trade rumors, and free agency stuff. That's a good lesson for us: No matter if you're 44-4, or 4-44, it's always going to be a topic of conversation.

"We can't control any of that. We can only control how strong we are as a group.

"The NBA is so fluid. We just want to enjoy what's going on right now, instead of talking about what might be."

Curry and his team-mates will come face-to-face with Durant, Russell Westbrook and the 37-13 Thunder on Saturday in a mouth-watering clash at Oracle Arena.
