Kevin-Prince Boateng has scored to inspire Las Palmas to a 2-0 win against Malaga and consequently emerged champions of the Carranza Trophy.

Boateng, 30 did not see plenty of play in the pre-season due to an injury he suffered, but he contributed immensely in Las Palmas final pre-season game when he registered his name on the scoresheet.
The former AC Milan striker got the opener via a penalty in the 39th minute after Dani Castellano had been brought down by Malaga defender Miguel Cifuentes.
Before, Spanish attacker Pedro Bigas came on as a substitute headed home Pedro Tana's lofty corner kick to hand Manolo Marquez's side the trophy in their maiden appearance.
