In what may have been the final NFL game played at O.co Coliseum, the Chargers and Raiders decided regulation was not enough.

Both the Chargers and Raiders, along with the St Louis Rams, are candidates for relocation to Los Angeles - a move that could come as early as next season.

Making Thursday even more special was that it was the final home game for Raiders defensive back Charles Woodson, who is retiring after 18 seasons.

A 31-yard field goal from Sebastian Janikowski in OT decided the contest in the Raiders' favour as they improved to 7-8, while the Chargers are 4-11.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was 31 of 49 for 277 yards and a touchdown, while the Raiders' Derek Carr had 204 yards and a TD.
