Ghana goalkeeper closes in on Spanish La Liga promotion

Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah has close in on promotion to the Spanish La Liga following Cordoba's impressive 3-0 over Mirandes on Wednesday night.

Brimah, who played the entire duration of the game for Cordoba, kept yet another clean sheet as his side move into the Segunda Division playoff stage.

Three second half goals from Fidel, Cisma and Raúl de Tomás sealed the all important victory for Cordoba who had to rely on quality saves from the 28-year-old Ghanaian shot-stopper.

Brimah will be available for their penultimate league match against Mallorca on the road but will miss the final match against Almeria
