18-year-old quack medical doctor arrested for raping 90-year-old patient

Brother of the victim, Kofi Broni was also reported to have said that the young man had been posturing as a medical doctor and had access to the old lady as a result, and committed the crime under the pretext of administering a medication to her.

An 18-year-old man alleged to have been parading himself as a medical doctor has been arrested by the Awutu Breku police after he was caught

A report by Adomonline.com indicated that ‘Dr.’ Kojo Nyamekye was allegedly caught red-handed by relatives of Yaa Beatrice abusing her. He was then arrested and handed over to the police.

“We were in the room when we heard her screaming, we rushed into her room and arrested Kojo Nyamekye who claimed to be a medical doctor…,” he narrated.

Adwoa Darkoa who is also said to be a daughter of the victim has also reportedly alleged that the same ‘quack’ doctor had perpetrated the same act on the old lady last week until she started bleeding.

The victim is reported to have said that the act allegedly perpetrated on her was such a ‘painful one’.

It is however not clear yet in which facility the said abuse has occurred and how the imposter had access to the premises, let alone attempted attending to patients.
