Katinka Hosszu of Hungary shaved two seconds off the world record to storm to gold in the women's 400 metre individual medley.

Hosszu touched the wall in four minutes and 26.36 seconds to smash Ye Shiwen's previous mark, set in 2012.
Ye's time was described at the time as "disturbing" by American swimming coach John Leonard, who dropped heavy hints that he felt doping may have played a part.
But Hosszu's stunning swim proved to be on a different level again, as she came home almost five seconds clear of nearest challenger Maya Dirado of the United States.
Spain's Mireia Belmonte rounded off the podium by pipping Great Britain's Hannah Miley to the wall.
