The accident occurred around 7pm Saturday evening when a Sprinter bus carrying 23 passengers rammed into a stationary articulated truck conveying bags of cement to a nearby town, StarrFMonline.com reports.

Two mechanics who were working on the faulty articulated truck on the road were among the dead.

The injured were rushed to the Dunkwa hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue.
