Third to eleventh October is for official and friendly matches sanctioned by FIFA and the Black Stars don't want to be left out, so management of the team is planning to get an opponent.

There have been reports that the USA have lined up a friendly against the Black Stars on October.

Responding to the reports, the Communications Director of the GFA. Sannie Daara has stated that the association is yet to confirm an opponent.

“All we can say is that we are looking for a friendly opponent and we have not reached any conclusion yet. When we reach any conclusion with any opponent, we will let you know,” he told Class.

The USA have faced Ghana three times in competitive fixtures, but they are yet to battle it out in a friendly game. The Black Stars won the first two ties before the Americans won the most recent clash in Brazil.
