Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have revealed why he benched John Obi Mikel in Tuesday, November 17 2-0 win over Swaziland.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria beat Swaziland 2-0in the second leg of 2018 World Cup second round qualifiers.
In the starting line-up Oliseh left out Mikel Obi for Paul Onobi to the surprise of many.
Oliseh however revealed that he is ready to drop any player when he chooses to.
“I have said in my previous interviews that I don’t care where you play whether it is at home or abroad. I am glad that you saw it today that Onobi had a good game. I don’t have any player with permanent shirt,” Oliseh said after the game as quoted by the Nations Newspaper.

The Super Eagles coach further praised Onobi for the way he played in the game.
“I like Onobi because he is hungry,” Oliseh said about the Sunshine Stars’ midfielder.
“I want to also praise my boys too and I congratulate them for a very good performance. They played to instructions and all the new players introduced had a nice game.”
