The Super League leaders suffered a 30-16 defeat in their first game of the Super 8s, but made amends with a convincing home win.

It was a second consecutive loss for the Vikings, who went down 20-16 to Catalans Dragons on Saturday.

Jordan Abdull's first try of the season handed the hosts an early lead, with a superb Talanoa score and Mahe Fonua's determined effort extending Hull's advantage.
