Casualties recorded in airport building collapse

According to eyewitnesses, five persons have sustained injuries.

A storey building under construction near the Airport residential area has collapsed on Saturday, February 6 2016, opposite the popular Holiday Inn Hotel.

Some officials of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and the Ghana Police Service were at the scene to ascertain the cause of the collapse which is not yet known.
