President Mahama during his ‘Accounting to the People’ in the Brong Ahafo region said he had taken notice of the current crisis at the Polytechnic and is hopeful the interim management will restore normalcy at the school.
“For two years or more, graduating students have not received their certificate… all are engaged in a free for all litigation that threatens the survival of that institution… I have instructed that an interim management committee takes over the day-to-day management of that institution,” he said at the Sunyani Polytechnic where he inaugurated a new Hospitality Catering and Integrated Management facility as the Polytechnic becomes Technical University next Academic year.
