Tony Smith's side were narrowly beaten by St Helens last time out, but they reignited their Super League Super 8s campaign with victory at Belle Vue.

Chris Hill, Ben Currie, Ryan Atkins, Daryl Clark and Matty Russell all ran in tries for the Wolves who had found themselves 6-0 down after six minutes.

The boot of Kurt Gidley added the remaining points as Wakefield's miserable Super 8s campaign continued, the Wildcats remaining bottom of the table.

In the Qualifiers, London Broncos claimed their first victory with a stunning 76-16 win against Batley Bulldogs, the latter losing for a second successive match in their quest for promotion.

Iliess Macani bagged himself a hat-trick for the Broncos as they moved level with Hull KR and Salford Red Devils on two points.

Huddersfield Giants also have two points thanks to their 62-16 triumph over Featherstone Rovers, Oliver Roberts and Kyle Wood starring for the Super League side.
