The West Africa Examination Council has indicated that three papers of the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination have been leaked.
The Oral English, Integrated Science and Social Studies papers have all leaked.
Some students in some schools in the Greater Accra and the Eastern regions had access to the examination papers between 12 midnight and 4 a.m. on the day the papers were written, the Daily Graphic has reported.
Some students created WhatsApp group chats to circulate the leaked exams papers.
Other students had the answers written on their thighs, reports say.
WAEC has been having challenges with leakage of its examination papers for some time now.
The council, last year, cancelled five subject papers in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) — papers 2 of English Language, Religious and Moral Education, Integrated Science, Mathematics and Social Studies.This followed realisation that those papers had been leaked, raising issues with credibility of the examinations.
