Prior to the release, Shatta Wale shared photos of their studio sessions to create more awareness but wasn't found on the song either the video when released.

An informer tells Pulse.com.gh that, the two had recorded the song long ago but when Ebony's management approached him to shoot a video for it, Wale started giving excuses to avoid it.

For this reason, Ebony cleared Shatta Wale's verses from the song and shot the video at a location in Accra.
