“Ghana is one of the best Aviation regions in Africa and it is doing well, which is a credit to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the Ghana Airport Company Limited by facilitating market access and opening the country to other Airlines that come to do business.”

“Ghana has all it takes to become one of the best Aviation hubs in the region, it is just trying to make sure government creates an enabling environment, government takes away all the obstacles,” he added.

Ghana carries the second highest number of passengers in West Africa after Nigeria. This is despite the fact that Ghana has no airline of substance dedicated to flying in the region or intercontinental.

This achievement has been attributed to the pro-activeness of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the Ghana Airports Company.
