Nana Addo appoints new CEO for Ghana Publishing Company

The Ghana Publishing Company was established in 1965 as a corporation,it is now one of twenty-five limited liability companies with 100 percent government shareholding.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr David Asante as the new Managing Director of Ghana Publishing Company.

Asante is the Convener of pressure group, Let my Vote Count Alliance (LMVCA).

Established in 1965 as a corporation, the Ghana Publishing Company is now one of twenty-five limited liability companies with 100 percent government shareholding.

Some main challenges of the company include poor infrastructure and low patronage.

The government announced earlier in 2017, that three foreign companies had expressed interest in partnering the company in its operations.

David Asante’s appointment takes effect from August 1, 2017.
